It’s funny because I saw this and told my wife it looked great, and that it reminded me of Richard Scarry but with a story like Dexter, and that is exactly how IDW describes it.
I love it, and so far it is pretty much flawless story telling. I care about the characters, there’s tension, there is some deftly handled brutality, and there is enough mystery to keep pulling you along.
It is free on Webtoons at the moment, and it is definitely worth a read.
It uses a trojan horse of nostalgia, or at least friendly images, to smuggle something much more dangerous and tricky into your mind. I can’t wait to see where it goes.
