The first new music with Frusciante in a long time. This is exciting. The first single Black Summer starts off pretty mellow but then it kicks up the energy in a way that instantly transports you. I like that I don\’t know where the rest of the album is going. There isn\’t a dud album by this group, in my opinion. There are a few that sound like different bands, but the music is always solid.
