Television Whitenoise: Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles

\"terminator\"

TV Spin-offs from feature films can be a mixed bunch. I missed this when it came out, but I was aware of it because of Summer Glau, who I knew from Firefly and Serenity, and that was what initially piqued my interest, as did the knowledge Shirley Manson was involved.

I am glad to say that the whole cast came into their own. Lena Headley came to inhabit her role and got add a lot of dimension to her character. We got to see John Connor start to move from kid to a really believable leader.

The thing that really added something  to the story and was shaping up nicely before the show got cancelled was the AI John Henry and what they were doing with Skynet and the in-fighting in the camps of both the Terminators and the Resistance. I always feel as much for the writers as the audience when a story doesn\’t get to run its full course. Sure, there were some ends tied off, but some interesting questions were not answered.
