another submerged future — j g ballard\’s drowned world

this was a great novel — the environmental changes force changes within the people living through them. this was a very claustrophobic read and  really plugged into some fears you get if you read enough around the subject. the main character embraces the changes that his evolution represents though, instead of having a horror of it, which might be the usual reaction. you can always expect complex psychological exploration with ballard and this doesn\’t disappoint. add it to your book shelf.
