Comicsphere: Freakangels Friday

A fairly quiet episode this week. It didn\’t feel gentle in the way that Arkady\’s episodes did though. Whenever Alice is being moved around, moved into place, given how she was introduced, it makes you a bit nervous. Connor seems way too trusting. But then there is the sense that he is withholding information about who the Freakangels are on the lookout for.

We caught a brief glimpse of new boy Jack on his steamboat. Got to see more of the sunken London landscape, and it felt like taking a stroll. When Connor is in the driving seat of an episode it commingles this calmness with the sense that something is coming. The tension will break soon — it really feels like it will. Then some of the secrets might be forced out into the open.
