rebellious jukebox: radiophonic workshop

I don\’t usually just recycle things which I come across on the internet, but Warren Ellis has been posting a lot of things about Delia Derbyshire this week, and sitting there watching the above documentary and listening to the music I came to a realisation about where my penchant for weird electronic sounds and music came from – it\’s strange how something can be so much a part of your landscape (the BBC shows they created the sounds for are staggering) that you fail to see what a huge influence it has had on your aesthetic and sonic palate.

Check out www.warrenellis.com for a whole host of other interesting links on this and many other subjects.

Have you ever considered about including a little bit more than just your articles? I mean, what you say is valuable and all. But think about if you added some great visuals or videos to give your posts more, “pop”! Your content is excellent but with pics and clips, this site could definitely be one of the best in its niche. Amazing blog!
