I love Star Trek, and I love the newer additions to the universe: Discovery, Prodigy and Picard. But I have to say that one of my favourite things about new Star Trek is The Ready Room with Wil Wheaton. Wil is the perfect choice to host this show, being both a lifelong Star Trek fan, and someone who acted in the show.
He is great at putting people at their ease, and his unique perspective allows him to ask the kind of questions that others would not perhaps know to ask. He connects the actors and the fans through his knowledge and enthusiasm and guides you through the new shows in a way that really respects both the legacy and the push forward into the future.
I hope at some point we see him in Picard. It would be nice to see where his character ended up.
