Comicsphere: Batman, Castle Of The Bat

This wasn\’t one of the best Batman stories I have read – it was shackled too much to the source material, and by that I don\’t mean Batman, I mean Frankenstein. I liked some of the other Elseworlds stories, but this one falls a little flat.

I liked that art … It was pretty evocative, but like I said, the story just seemed a little thin. Filtering Batman through the lens of Frankenstein could have been so much more fruitful, and this could have been a little larger than he slender volume we have. I am not sure what the remit was – get in and get out, but it is more of a valiant almost than something that feels fully realised.
