Television Whitenoise: Betas

I will admit to being somewhat skeptical of a show produced by Amazon. i am not sure why I expected the production values not to be so great considering the financial muscle behind the company, but there you go … that was where my head was at when I sat down to watch the pilot a few weeks ago. I was more than pleasantly surprised. The characters are gaining some depth already, the world is nicely fleshed out, and the funny is charming. It works. I\’m not going to say it is up there with those shows that are being branded as the renaissance of TV programming, but this is a slow burner that promises to gather momentum nicely.
