[youtube=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-U3jrS-uhuo&w=560&h=315] God, this makes me wish that Paul McGann had been given more of a chance at the role. On the strength of this I think there would be real legs with a series actually telling us what happened with is incarnation of the Doctor.
The fact that Peter Capaldi is coming along soon as a new incarnation might mean they don\’t want to divide focus, but with such a sterling actor who obviously relishes the role, wouldn\’t this just be cake? Wouldn\’t people eat this up? Wouldn\’t this make up for the lean periods where we have had to wait for the Doctor to show up? I am crossing my fingers that someone somewhere thinks a double-barrelled helping of Doctor Who would be more than great – it would be an essential thing.
