Turn The Page: Available Light by Warren Ellis

\"available

If Warren Ellis doesn\’t qualify as an experimental writer then I am not sure who does. But perhaps that term is reserved for those who push to the point of abstraction where it becomes hard to follow the writer up their own tight rectums. This wasn\’t my favourite short fiction by Ellis – there was some stuff he posted on Livejournal that was great, and some stuff on his main website, but this was still pretty cool. Ellis is always worth turning up for – and the different formats he writes in never come off as gimmicky – the presentation is surely always interesting, but it truly does seem that every bespoke form he shoehorns his writing into best serves the story. I wish there were more people out there half as imaginative as Ellis.
