I think that I was in love with the whole aesthetic of it. The bands seemed to be different &#8211;the designs of the record covers and the subscriber club I used to be a member of all went towards making it really cutting edge and full of beautiful products &#8212; music and art combined.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\\\"http:\/\/www.4ad.com\\\">www.4ad.com<\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>4AD: it was and is a great label with some brilliant groups on &#8212; The Pixies, Throwing Muses and Lush just to name a few.
