I can live without any reboots, but if you are going to have them, they need to be approached with some consideration of how the previous incarnation did things — or they need to totally diverge from that template. All in or all out, but half-arsing it either way is a disservice to something that you loved.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I loved Buffy<\/em>, and I loved the way it ended — same with Angel<\/em>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Does everyone mean Joss Whedon? Maybe he could be a writer and steer clear of interacting with people, if he is still radioactive. But his inclusion might cause others to steer clear, who I’d hate to see recast.<\/p>\n\n\n\n You need Willow, Xander and Cordelia. You need Spike and Angel. Maybe you don’t — not if you’re going for something new, but a reboot with most of the original cast and some missing, would be weird.<\/p>\n\n\n\n You always hope for something as good as the Twin Peaks sequel series, but something that great is rare.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
