I don\\’t usually just recycle things which I come across on the internet, but Warren Ellis has been posting a lot of things about Delia Derbyshire this week, and sitting there watching the above documentary and listening to the music I came to a realisation about where my penchant for weird electronic sounds and music came from – it\\’s strange how something can be so much a part of your landscape (the BBC shows they created the sounds for are staggering) that you fail to see what a huge influence it has had on your aesthetic and sonic palate.<\/p>\n
