Completed And Defunct Projects

Fugue Legion

A collaborative effort that slowly skidded to a halt. A promising idea that didn’t take off in the way it should have. Managed to get a fairly good framework. some good characters, and an interesting storyline out of it which I can rework.

Loom

This kind of wound down slowly due to the other commitments of the members of the group. It was fun while it lasted, and it gave me the whole world of The Knotlands which will continue, once the schedule interruption is corrected here.

Restless Pen

As well as the concept of webrings being a bit outdated it seems, the company which provided the framework upon which I built the ring seems to have been bought out by an advertising company. Going to have to try and dismantle this thing if I can.

666/06

This book idea that I had was the ideal way I wanted to put out the poems I wrote whilst on the site Spoiled Ink, which later became Editred. I had, at the time of designing the cover, enough poems to put 666 in the book. My computer died and this became impossible. The poems I managed to salvage went into “a room full of sad automata”, “a threnody for john doe”, and two yet to be put together collections: “rewind zen” and “onwards delve”.

Suggestion Box

Well, I should have thought it out a bit better, maybe, but putting up a site where you ask people to give you suggestions about what to write can smack loudly of having run out of ideas, something blatantly not true. Anyway, with the deluge of updates on facebook, the main home for this idea (wordpress just being the home of the end product) I think my requests for suggestions about what people might like me to write about got lost. Fuck, I’m being charitable, but you live and learn, eh?

365

This died a death early on unfortunately because I kind of overdid it with the scope. I got some work out of it which I can use and may resurrect the sites at some point in the future, but I have so many things which I have started and not pushed which really do have legs and deserve to run to their conclusion that something had to be cut, and this is it.

Part of the problem with announcing all this shit online is that it gets kind of embarrassing when you fuck it up, but oh well, better to try and bite off more than you can chew than to not bite anything off at all.
