Comicsphere: Super Dinosaur Vol. 1 by Jonathan Hickman & Jason Howard

image It’s usually a writer that pulls me into a comic, and I think that could be because pretty art is great up to a point, but if there is no meat to the story it’s going to suck. I have been following Jason Howard only since he hooked up with Warren Ellis for Scatterlands, and I have loved what I have seen of Trees. I started following him on twitter and found out about Super Dinosaur And after seeing a picture of a dinosaur with robotic arms how could I resist? And man, what fun it is. I mentioned coming in through Jason Howard, but then to find the writer is Jonathan Hickman, does it get better than? It really is an action movie of a comic, but not a dumb one. And there is plenty foreshadowed here. You should always bear in mind that with Hickman it could jump off in any direction too. I will be getting more of this series, and sure, before you say it, I know I am late to the game on this one, but at least I arrived.
